How Could a Song I Wrote Comparing Drugs to Women (Both Are Like Addictions; and Temporary) Be Offensive?

Question by don29002: How could a song i wrote comparing drugs to women (Both are like addictions; and temporary) be offensive?
It was called “Drugs”. I wrote it because I’ve been used and played so much by girls that i think girls want us guys to be like a drug (an addiction and something we can’t stop using) and then they get off of us. somebody even thought i was gay because i wrote the line “why do we men need ya’ll in our lives”. i wrote that to tell how I’ve been played and so why do we need users in our lives…. 6 girls rejected me last week. sad right?

anyway was it a bad thing that i wrote the song?

Drug additions can be fatal. Women rarely are. Drug addictions are destructive. Women rarely are.

Most women wouldn’t take offence at your comparison. You’re just using poetic licence. Just ignore these cranks.
