Should We Rename the Dept of Homeland Security?

Question by Bopped: Should we rename the Dept of Homeland Security?
Maybe we can call them Dept of Shampoo and Toothpaste.
We set this department to make us more secure. Since that time they have done a good job of confiscating shampoo and that is all. They let Paul Thorn through the border with drug resistant TB despite having his picture up at all border crossings. Illegal immigrants cross the border with Mexico almost at will. We have a thriving trade in Drugs and Weapons with Mexico. Is there anything they do right? At this stage I figure the only reason we have not had a terrorist attack is that no one tried.

the problem with that part of the government from the beginning, has been its goal, set by Bush: not to make us safer, but to make us FEEL safer.
