What Are the Effects of Ritalin on a Non-ADHD Kid?

Question by Shawn: What are the effects of Ritalin on a non-ADHD kid?
Hey, I have to do a report on the effects of Ritalin on a non-ADHD/ADD kid for school and I am having trouble finding the information. Can anyone please help? I am not asking you write me the report but if anyone can just throw out a site or facts please. I will continue looking for info so don’t say I am too lazy or anything. Thank you.

The stuff is actually speed, and now some kids are selling it as a stay-awake drug. You’d find most info in newspapers and mags like Time and Newsweek. Google the magazine names to find their archives and Google The New York Times or Washington Post. Many Community Colleges have search engines for newspapers–just go in and ask the librarian. You’ll want a keyword search for “ritalin abuse” or some such. Google itself might give you too much. It’d try goodsearch.com or metacrawler.com instead, if you want a search at home.
